Thank you, Peter McFarlane

by bwoodman ~ November 29th, 2017

October found us back in the Community Room with Peter McFarlane giving a spirited workshop on lyricism. Peter taught us that often, “less is more,” and that simply adding more emphasis just does not work. He gave us tips on maintaining fluidity and continuity and how to avoid choppiness in playing. By the end of the session, the SRSNH sound was already more nuanced and expressive. Thank you, Peter!

A grateful thank you, also, to the Benjamin Couch Trust, administered by TD Wealth, NA. Because of its generous support of our program, the workshop was free and open to the public.
